Ski Studio Siviez Switzerland

Welcome

Siviez, the undiscovered dual season gem of the Swiss Alps

View from the studio

Located in the french speaking Swiss canton of Valais with easy access from Geneva, the high-altitude (1730m) resort of Siviez is about as snowsure as you can get. It lies in the centre of the lift system of the 4 valleys ski area which links Verbier, Haute-Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz and Thyon. For those wishing to spend maximum time on the slopes, Verbier is sadly lower and less convenient than Siviez, so why endure crowds and morning queues there when you can stay in peaceful Siviez for a fraction of the cost and be at the top of the same mountain earlier?

Die-hard snow addicts or nature-lovers wanting summer mountain walking or biking will all enjoy this well-established dual season resort with its seemingly endless range of activities. In summer, you will be surrounded by glorious alpine pastures where the only sounds are those of tumbling streams and tinkling cow bells.

The Studio

Enviably situated and directly on the piste, this cosy, fully-equipped and self-contained two person studio is on the first floor of the Rosablanche apartment building (below left). It has stunning alpine views across the Rhone valley and enjoys the doorstep service of three different chairlifts. In the morning, simply walk downstairs or take the lift to the small in-house supermarket to chat with the friendly locals and collect freshly baked baguettes and croissants. If you are feeling lazy, then breakfast can be taken next door at the restaurant bar "Chez Caroline" - their sun terrace overlooks the ski school. Next door again, Gabysports will provide for your ski, board and bike hire needs and they also have workshop services.

The studio has its own secure ski locker and there is designated residents' parking (garaged if required) Further in-house facilities include: squash courts, public telephone, internet access, self-service laundry room and, in season, tennis courts.
